THE Kingfishers Swim School FUND

Our swim school runs a charity fund to support the local community.  

So far we have completed 2 triathlons, a half Ironman and put on a BIG BIRTHDAY BASH!

Rochford families can apply for funding to help their children in learning to swim. In the future we would like to offer this as a Nationwide funding opportunity.

Since starting the fund,  we have supported those in hardship, those who have found themselves in a difficult financial situation and those who would otherwise be unable to learn. Support has included financial support towards lessons,  equipment (goggles/swim wear), giving extra lessons to children who are struggling with anxiety and are taking longer than usual to learn, support to children's whose parents have become ill, children with SEN and providing top up lessons to year 6 children who cannot swim the required 25metres needed by the end of KS2.

In October 2024, we won the STA STAr Not-for-Profit-Campaign.

We know that we cannot help everyone, but we endeavour to help as many as possible.

Support our fund by keeping an eye on our fundraising events and joining in wherever possible.
